Originally hailing from the Midwest, my passion for learning and discovery initially led me to the field of cellular biology, where I was a research associate and lab manager before relocating to Seattle to obtain a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington. I have always been strongly pulled toward helping others heal and improve their body and found the perfect fit in the world of Physical Therapy. After graduating with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington, I was drawn to Innova’s holistic practice style and commitment to continued learning.
Working with individuals from birth to older adults through internships and life experiences led me to an interest in manual therapy, women’s health, and oncology. It is an exciting endeavor to develop and evolve Innova’s Women’s Health Program and improve my manual therapy skills and clinical reasoning.
My treatment philosophy is to honor and treat each individual as a whole and unique person and to work together to achieve optimum function. I believe movement is key for a happy, healthy life and I enjoy practicing Pilates, kettlebells and yoga in my free time, as well as exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and our pup.
