I graduated from Creighton University in 2004 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. In 2008 I became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) and in 2010 I received marks of distinction through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). I have also completed the Discover Physio Series in 2013 practicing with an Integrated Model Systems (IMS). As a manual physical therapist, I feel treating the body as a whole is very important for total long term recovery. I feel strongly about teaching people about their dysfunctions so they can be encouraged to integrate functional healing in their daily activities. My passion is treating patients with acute and/or chronic neck, middle back, lower back, pelvic and sacroiliac issues and helping them return to normal activities. I enjoy teaching patients proper core stabilization/strengthening exercises and progressing them back to full function. I am also proficient with rehabilitation to the extremity joints and enjoy helping athletes (weekend warriors and elite) rehab back to the sports they love to play.
I grew up in San Diego. For an adventure, I went across the country to Pennsylvania and attended Allegheny Collage graduating with a BS in Biology in 2001. Some personal achievements include playing collegiate soccer at Allegheny College, summiting Mt. Rainier, and running in marathons. Currently, I enjoy spending time with my family and when time permits, I enjoy the outdoors especially skiing, hiking, and camping.
