I am a passionate and dedicated physical therapist, new to the Seattle area as of November 2023! I am originally from Annapolis, Maryland, but I have been living and practicing in Denver, CO since completing my Doctorate in 2017. I attended the University of Virginia for my undergraduate education (go Hoos) and received my B.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Medicine, along with a B.A. in Spanish literature in 2014. I then earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Masters in Anatomy in 2017 from top-ranked DPT program University of Delaware.

As a former competitive athlete in lacrosse (among other sports), I have always had a keen interest in anatomy, the biomechanics of movement, and performance optimization. This interest was the driving force that led me to pursue my degrees in kinesiology, anatomy, and physical therapy. During my extensive independent study in anatomy, as part of my Master's degree, I took special interest in analyzing shoulder injuries sustained by overhead athletes, such as baseball and lacrosse players.

I treat a wide variety of conditions and populations, from geriatrics and chronic pain all the way to elite level/professional athletes. My clinical emphasis is in sports and orthopedics. I really enjoy tailoring individualized care plans to help meet the requirements of a particular activity or sport. I am level 1-3 dry needling certified and have training in other cutting edge modalities, such as shockwave therapy. I am also well-versed in the treatment of vestibular conditions, such as BPPV

As a lifelong learner, I believe that evidenced-based medicine and patient education are the keys to successful rehab. I take an integrative and holistic approach to injury rehabilitation, in order to get my patients back to living their most active and functional lifestyles. I seek to educate and empower my patients, so that they can safely return to doing the things they love to do!

Away from work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, camping, yoga, cooking delicious food and adventuring with my husband and black lab puppy Luna. I'm excited to continue the adventures in Seattle and explore all that the northwest has to offer!
