I received my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in Spokane, Washington, from Gonzaga University in 2004 (Go Zags!) and went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, in 2010.
Since graduation I have been practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting in the Seattle area and have loved every minute of it. Living the PNW has allowed to me to establish and develop my career in a vibrant and active community. My practice approach tends to be heavily manual therapy based with an emphasis on functional movement. I believe that good movement is the foundation to maintaining an active lifelong lifestyle. I also believe that a patient-centered approach to treatment is key in obtaining each individual’s unique and specific activity and/or athletic goals. I am looking forward to continuing to advance my practice skills with emphasis on ConnectTherapy™, sport-specific rehabilitation, and integrated functional movement.
Health and wellness are not only an underlying theme professionally but also personally. Although I have a strong background in volleyball, I also enjoy rock climbing, hiking, cycling, and almost any other, "-ing" activity.
